As an authorized dealer for Fox Products and Howarth of London, Aria Double Reeds is able to provide all models of bassoons and oboes offered by both manufacturers. Pre-owned instruments and consignment sales are also available. Each instrument received by us is fully assessed and critiqued to ensure that every detail meets our exacting standards.

About Ari and Julia
Ari and Julia Allal met their freshman year at the University of Maryland while performing chamber music together. They bonded quickly over their love of music and double reeds. After finishing their degrees in music performance, they both went on to receive their Masters in Music at the University of Michigan where they also performed in many of the local orchestras outside of Ann Arbor and Detroit. Once they had completed their degrees, Ari and Julia returned to the Washington, D.C. area where they can be heard performing with various ensembles and at venues such as the Kennedy Center and Strathmore. They each have a studio of private students who perform in the local youth orchestras and receive top ratings at solo and ensemble festivals. In addition, Ari is a music teacher at Winston Churchill High School. Ari and Julia live in Olney, Maryland, thirty minutes from Washington, D.C., with their young children, Elie and Talia.
